Rice Lake Speedway Adds Points Fund

Rice Lake WI – Following up on their recent announcement of a twelve percent increase in the purse to the racers for the 2026 racing season at the Rice Lake Speedway, track owners Kolby and Dean Kiehl along with Dick Kalow have also announced that they have created a point fund for the track with drivers in all five divisions benefitting from the fund.
Five thousand dollars has been set aside for a point fund which will be collected by the top five point earning drivers in all five divisions that race at the speedway.
“We want to reward the drivers that support the racing program at Rice Lake weekly and this is our way of thanking them for being on hand every Saturday night. There a number of conflicting races that take place each year and for those drivers that show up at Rice Lake religiously, we wanted to create a way of saying, thank you,” says track spokesman and part owner, Kolby Kiehl.
This point fund is created strictly by the owners of the speedway and is in no way connected with any point fund monies that the sanctioning body may pay out. Total track points at the speedway earned during the 2026 racing season will be used to determine the top five drivers in each class.
Watch for further announcements as the 2026 racing season approaches on the speedway website at www.ricelakespeedway.net or the speedway's face book page.
