Rice Lake Speedway Hall of Fame Seeks Candidates
The voting membership of the Rice Lake Speedway Hall of Fame is looking for additional nominees for possible induction into the speedway's Hall of Fame.
The voting committee has a pool of candidates which they use to select new members to the Hall of Fame for induction each year. However, in any effort to not miss any worthy candidates for selection that may have been overlooked , the committee is seeking additional nominees from the public.
The Hall of Fame selects three drivers each year for addition to the Hall while one Friend of the Speedway candidate is added each year. The only stipulations for potential candidates are that they must be retired from the sport for at least five years or be at least sixty years old.
Anyone that would like to submitt a candidates should simply send an e-mail to www.ricelakespeedway.net stating the name of the candidate and if possible, highlighting that person's involvement with the speedway.
The annual voting process is done by the voting committee in a meeting near the end of March and the 2025 Rice Lake Speedway Hall of Fame members will be honored on Saturday night, August 16th.
